OTHER PEOPLE'S MATERIAL

Waterfurlong Orchard Gardens is a non-commercial site that serves the dual purpose of education about the gardens and celebration of their rich natural, social and architectural history.

We are committed to ensuring correct accreditation of and permissions for third party material and have done our best to avoid any images or written excerpts we know or suspect to be under copyright protection, unless we have gained written permission from the identified copyright owner.

All images, including those covered by a creative commons licence, have been credited to the photographer or artist where known, and linked through to the original source.

Where no attribution is provided this is usually because copyright has expired or because the work has been obtained from a free-sharing site. In a very few cases we have tried every reasonable means possible to identify the originator without success.

Most extracts from old newspapers have been obtained via the British Library's British Newspaper Archive and accredited accordingly.

If any image or excerpt has been misattributed and you own the copyright please get in touch with proof of ownership and we will immediately correct the accreditation or remove the image as preferred.

Please do not copy any third party images, articles, extracts or quotes from the website or blog without obtaining prior permission direct from the copyright holder.
